Graduation Requirements
A commencement ceremony is held each spring for students graduating with Associates degrees, Technical Certificates, and Certificates of Proficiency. Graduation is not an automatic process. To be considered for graduation, submit the Application for Graduation to the Registrar. Your application will be certified if you:
Successfully complete all courses within your program requirements with a minimum cumulative 2.00 GPA;
Successfully complete the required number of credits;
Complete the following as a regular ASU Three Rivers student:
Associate of Applied Science Degree - a student must complete 15 semester credit hours of the degree or diploma at the College. These credits must be earned as a regular student rather than by test-out or other means of advanced placement.
Associate of Science in Liberal Arts and Sciences- a student must complete 15 semester credit hours of the degree or diploma at the College. These credits must be earned as a regular student rather than by test-out or other means of advanced placement.
Associate of Arts Degree - a student must complete 15 semester credit hours of the degree or diploma at the College. These credits must be earned as a regular student rather than by test-out or other means of advanced placement.
Certificate of General Studies - a student must complete 15 semester credit hours of the certificate at the College. These credits must be earned as a regular student rather than by test-out.
Technical Certificate - a student must complete 15 semester credit hours of the certificate at the College. These credits must be earned as a regular student rather than by test-out or other means of advanced placement.
Certificate of Proficiency - a student must complete all semester credit hours of the certificate as a regular student of the College (no provision for transfer of credits from other institutions).
4. Satisfy all financial obligations due to ASU Three Rivers;
5. Complete the Graduation Application and Survey. This application/survey gives you the opportunity to
indicate if you wish to walk in the Spring 2024 commencement exercises and to order your
cap and gown at no charge to you.
