Honors College, ASUTR was created to provide opportunities and support for academically capable and engaged students who want to begin their higher education experience at a nearby, accessible college.
Admission into Honors College is by comprehensive consideration of the application materials. In general, we look to admit those applicants who come to us with a score of 23 or better on the ACT exam, a high school grade point average of 3.5 or better, strong recommendations from previous teachers and other community leaders, and a demonstrated desire to pursue honors-level work at the college level. A personal interview is required to complete the application process.
Members in good standing receive the Honors College Scholarship, which pays tuition and essential fees up to eighteen hours per semester for four consecutive semesters.
