Cost Containment and Transparency

The ASU Three Rivers cost containment initiative is part of our overall commitment to transparency and accountability. Use the links on this page to see what the college is doing to cut costs and operate more efficiently.

Act 1163 "Open Checkbook Act"

In compliance with Arkansas Code 6-61-135, This Act (commonly known as the “Open Checkbook Act”) requires state-supported institutions of higher education to present expenditure data on a website operated by each institution. ASU Three Rivers has created a website to present unaudited expenditure data. This database is intended to provide transparency to the people of Arkansas and our constituents. The data is derived from general ledger accounting records and is not intended to supplement or replace the annual audited financial report.

The website is organized by fiscal year and provides drill down capability. Payee/vendor, payment amount and category fields are displayed for each record. Information that is not permissible for posting under the Arkansas Freedom of Information Act of 1967 and federal laws or regulations is not included.

The database is updated monthly and presented by fiscal year to display payments made from July 1 to June 30. View our expenditure data here.
