Student Support Services (SSS) is one of the federally funded TRIO programs designed to help qualified students enter and graduate from college. The goals are achieved through the following services: tutoring (personal and computer-aided); disability services; counseling (personal, career, and academic); cultural activities; and special events.
Our FREE program helps students:
- Increase awareness
- Meet new students
- Get to know faculty
- Successfully transfer to a four-year college
- Prepare resumes and letters to obtain employment
- Make career decisions
- Improve study skills
- Survive in college!
To receive assistance, students must be enrolled, or accepted for enrollment, in a program of post-secondary education and have an established need for academic
assistance. All participants must be low income, first generation, and/or disabled.
