The ASU Three Rivers Medical Coding Academy is a certified professional non-college credit program consisting of 96 contact hours of instructor-led training in-person and/or online. The American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) Medical Coding Training (MCT) curriculum consists of medical coding fundamentals, dissecting real-world medical cases and charts to extract the most relevant information. The certified professional coding program (CPC) teaches ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS medical coding skills for professional services (physicians, mid-level providers, etc.) and prepares the learner to take AAPC's CPC exam.
